The Free Secure Network Systems Group

The Free Secure Network Systems Group analyzes, designs and implements free and secure network systems software. We specialize in developing fully decentralized secure system software, but are interested in most topics relating to systems research (operating systems, networking, programming languages, software engineering).
For our new designs, the explicit goal is to release production-quality free software to maximize the impact. Code quality is ensured by applying both agile software engineering principles and formal methods (static analysis, type systems).

The group is currently focusing its development efforts on GNUnet and the DUP System.

The group is lead by Christian Grothoff and located at the Chair for Network Architectures and Services at Technische Universit√§t M√ľnchen.
